resolutions, schmesolitions

Humans are creatures of habit. We are what we repetitively do.

Simply and sadly, no one will reach their New Years resolutions. The goals they set out to achieve are too distant from the character they are. This just goes to show, we want what we can’t have and can’t do. I mean, if you already weren’t a procrastinator, why would you wish to not be a procrastinator for your New Years resolution?

If someone does achieve a giant leap and recreate their character, more power to you. Just keep in mind that humans only change for as long as they need to, so be swift and attempt to hold your ground, old habits die hard.

Needless to say, keep your resolutions simple but ambitious, centered around the traits that define you. Keep it you. Keep it simple. Keep it happy.

To put an end to my procrastination-filled rambling, here are my New Years resolutions:

  • broaden my perspective and POVs
  • laugh
  • and build a phenomenal Key Club
